“Flat Tops & Flappers”

Music from 12:30 – 5:00 p.m. (Doors Open at Noon)

Starring the Four Preps and Seattle’s Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators

The Four Preps feature original lead singer Bruce Belland; Bob Duncan, former leader of “The Diamonds,” and his fellow members from “The Crew Cuts,” Joe Dickey and Skip Taylor. These dynamic vocalists harmonize on America’s favorite pop hits from the ’50s and ’60s, including The Four Preps’ 26 Miles (Santa Catalina), Big Man, Lazy Summer Night and Down by the Station (Early in the Morning;) a Beach Boys Medley, The Diamonds’ Little Darlin’ and The Crew Cuts’ Sh-Boom (Life Could Be a Dream). They’ll entertain and evoke wonderful memories, performing two sets, 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 4:15-5:00 p.m. For further information, go to http://www.thefourpreps.com/

Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators round out the afternoon of music performing vintage jazz of the early ’20s to the mid ’30s—the original American music that provided a playful soundtrack for the flappers who danced the Charleston and sipped illicit booze in the glitzy underworld of the speakeasy. They’ll open the show between 12:30-1:15 p.m. and return from 2:45-3:45 p.m., performing forgotten gems from the early jazz era and well-known popular tunes that now are part of the Great American songbook.
