The Port Ludlow Village Council is sponsoring Port Ludlow Days August 10th thru 16th. Doug Henderson (dhend10@msn.com) 437-4033 is chair of the committee that is very busy organizing a number of events for each of the seven days. The schedule of events promises to cater to every interest, talent and taste so stay tuned.

A competition for the title of Mr. and Mrs. Port Ludlow will be held during the week long event. The committee is asking for volunteers to step forward to compete for the title by engaging with the community and garnering votes during the week's activities. The requirement as that the entrants be personable residents, outgoing, community minded and like to dress up in an 1850's style of costume. Mr. and Mrs. Port Ludlow will reign for a year and represent the community in a variety of community venues. For more information contact Barbara Berthiaume at 437-0423.
