The workshop was opened by President, Lynn Gauche, at 3:20 p.m.
Members Present: Laury Hunt, Dean Mosier, Tony Simpson,
Helen Cotta, Gene Carmody, Douglas Henderson, Larry Nobles and Jack McKay

Items Discussed:
1. Projects of the 2008-09 Village Council – non -sustaining
a. Continue Iron Mountain Quarry (e.g., legal issues and representation)
b. Revitalize the Community Development Committee
c. Create a PLVC Nominating Committee (e.g., for committees and council)
d. Continue the “phone directory” project (e.g., database to marketing)
e. Reconsider the Funfest project (e.g., when, who, where and how?)
f. Update the by-laws of the PLVC
g. Create a public relations committee (e.g., web site, area newspapers, emailing)
h. Revitalize the “One Port Ludlow” project (e.g., purpose, ideas, projects)
i. Revitalize the idea of a full-service market in Port Ludlow
j. Create an investigation of purchasing the “buffer” zones surrounding Port Ludlow
k. Create a committee structure to study and recommend PLVC funding projects
l. Establish a “Service Committee” to recognize citizens (e.g., service to the community)
m. Establish a “Forums & Conferences” agenda (e.g., pro-active on community issues)
2. Projects of the 2008-09 Village Council – Sustaining-Ongoing activities
a. Collecting advertizing revenue for the PLVC web site
b. Continue support and collaboration with:
i. Fire district
ii. Friday market
iii. Jefferson Co. Government
iv. Trails Committee
v. Disaster Preparedness
vi. Utilities Committee
vii. Finance Committee
3. Reports from acting chairs at the November PLVC meeting (See chart)
